Problems that are NOT related or caused by the immobilizer system-If the starter does not engage or the engine does not "turn over" at all, this is not an immobilizer problem. The "coil spring" being referred to is probably an ignition coil. This does not sound like the issue you are having, as this would definitely not cause your ESC/TPMS light . You would likely also have a rough idle or a vibration during acceleration.
It started out with just cold start misfires, I brought it to Audi and they said start with the valve cleaning treatment and if that doesn't work they would need to replace the injectors on #3 & 7. The valve cleaning solvent they used made no difference, I planned on doing a manual carbon cleaning and changing all 8 injectors myself.
