1 day ago · The Good Place season 1's Bad Place reveal is among the biggest sitcom plot twists to grace the screen, and one detail makes it even better in hindsight. After an entire outing of Eleanor attempting to hide the fact that she doesn't belong in the titular version of heaven, The Good Place season 1 finale reveals that the characters are actually in the Bad Place.
Joseph Seed is the only Far Cry antagonist to survive the events of the game no matter which ending is taken. Despite Seed's role in the game, his actor Greg Bryk does not consider him a villain. He bears some resemblance to the real-life cult leader David Koresh, as his cult group, Branch Davidians, were the inspiration of Project at Eden's Gate.
IMO Far Cry 4 has the best story overall, but it's definitely shorter than 3's main story. 3 had some kind of satire/ sarcasm going on, but I think the mechanics were so good that most people missed the satire the writer was going for. Far Cry 4 is more subtle in its subtext, it executes it better.
In the Canon Far Cry Mainstream universe, That is the correct ending where you wait for him, meaning that the events of Farcry 4 did not happen. In Farcry 5 the bombs go off at the end, but that is THE NON CANON ENDING, meaning that New Dawn did not actually happen, as well as the events of Farcry 5 because the canon ending is the walk away
If you think about it, there is still hope for the people in Hope County since they are still alive, and the fate of the team is left entirely up to the player's imagination. In "resist," it's simply Hell spelled out with no exception, no hope for any positive outcome down the road. So the game journal articles have it backwards. Resist is the bad ending, walk away is the possibly "good" or at
My Jason - the true Jason - will struggle, he will be faced with trauma, pain, regret and hopelessness, and he will live through. He lost his brother in the beginning, he found himself at the middle, he saved everyone in the end. Citra is dead, the cult is dead - the islands, the Rakyat and their people may now live.
My take on the far cry 5 nuclear ending explanation. i think a plausible explanation to the nuclear ending is that the nukes were indeed placed by the cult as whenever you kill off the 3 main bosses in the game before Joseph they mysteriously have decided to take refuge in missile silos. at the end of the game we can clearly see 3 nuclear
The overall plot is nothing special but I really liked the ending. Certainly light-years ahead of the shit show that is Far Cry 5. The implications are subtle enough to make for interesting thought experiments. Except for Clara, all of the allies you worked with throughout the game make for terrible successors to Castillo.
Relevant bit: "Update: Shortly after publication, a Ubisoft rep reached out with a correction on the ending. “Wanted to clarify that in reality, the ending has been hiding in plain sight. Joseph Seed continually says that the end of the world is approaching.
Far Cry 6's antagonist Anton gets the short end of the stick during the game's ending, but his son Diego fares even worse than he does. The marketing of Far Cry 6 largely focused on its antagonist
